babies-born.co.uk Terms & Conditions of Sale Please read our Terms and Conditions of Sale prior to purchasing goods from our site: 1. All prices are in Pounds Sterling.Babywear is zero vat rated. We are not V.A.T Registered and do not charge it in our Invoices to you! We reserve the right to change any advertised price before you place an order. 2. All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. 3. Delivery is charged at the published rate for most UK addresses.£2.95min.+5% for extra goods weight.Calculated in cart ( ie £3.95+ 5% total price good add on u.k.only.). 4. Deliveries will normally be made within 2-4 working days(we always try to post the same day) if products are in stock. You will be advised of any delay or if the item is not available by phone or email.So please check Email box just in case. We are sending mail by recorded signed for so please make sure you can except delivery when post arrives,any retuned orders will have to be paid the cost of re-posting before we send again. All Airmail orders are sent just basic Royal mail air which only covers goods up to £36.00 If you wish us to ad Insurance for the goods being posted, contact us first and let us know..The extra cost is around £4-£5.00. Airsure. If you do not request this we will not be responsible for loss...We do fill in the claim form on your behalf though! 5. Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card. Payment will be debited from your account before the despatch of your purchase. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site. 6. In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please contact us in writing. In the case of non-delivery please wait 5 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In the case of damaged goods please retain the product and contact us within 24 hours of receipt. 99% of our orders now are sent by recorded delivery, please be sure somone will be able to accept when arrives,any returned to us unclaimed from post office will have to have postage paid again! RETURNED ITEMS/GOODS. Please contact us by phone or e-mail to let us know if goods can be returned. Please include the date purchased..id number, your name and reason for returning. Goods must be returned complete and undamaged for refund. We cannot refund for damaged goods we cannot re-sell. You will be responsable for claims to Royal Mail if Damaged in transit returning. Please keep all receipts from posting for proof. DATA PROTECTION. We request your name and address to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service but we WILL NOT pass your name and address to ANY third parties. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days of the despatch date with your receipt, providing it is not used and washed. Items that are supplied at your request and are not faulty will have a 20% levi taken off sub total invoice price to cover the cost of re-stocking, invoicing and the charges we are charged from credit card company`s to us that is taken when you place a order. Shipping charges are not refundable as we cannot get a refund from Royal Mail.. If goods are damaged by our carrier,or the box looks damaged, please sign the deliver note box damaged goods unchecked, we will make a claim on your behalf this can take up to 28 days. Clearance Lines are at cost and sometimes below,so no requests for refunds can be accepted.(unless a fault is found.) Not including marks that can be washed out. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.. When you select the International shipping in our cart...we only charge you for Standard Royal Mail Air posting...This does not cover Insurance for loss in post once it has left the UK...this is at your risk....If your order does go missing, we will put in a claim to Royal Mail for you...but cannot Guarantee they will pay compensation....If you wish us to Insure your order first, e-mail us for the extra costs. PRODUCT QUALITY GUARANTEED. If your product should develop a fault within 14 days of purchase we will repair it, exchange it for an equivalent product if available, or if you prefer, refund your money (your product should still be in new condition and with the original packaging, accessories and receipt).Postage return at customers own expence. PRODUCT GUARANTEE. All products are guaranteed. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. Pictures and images used on this site are for guidence only....Manufacturer's sometimes change colours and designs and the exact shade may be differant from in our image. Where a manufacturer's guarantee is offered with any product or individual component, it is additional to this guarantee. Please take the time to register the guarentee with the company on the label if requested to do so and retain your proof of purchase. During the period of guarantee, subject to the conditions above, products will be repaired free of charge for both parts and labour. Any Problems with items must be notified within 1 day of delivery in writing (e-mail excepted) Items sent on Terms and Conditions of payment,(a/c) ie 14 days will incure interest of 8% per month compounded until the date of payment is received in full.Interest is charged from the invoice date. All items remain our property until such a time as they have been paid in full. We reserve the right to cancel and refund in full any payment which is made to us if we cannot confirm the payee name and address by our security methods.It is the customers responsablity to make sure they are confirmed by their bank or card provider. Your right To Cancel You have the right to cancel your order with us at any time before your order is dispatched. Please note that if your order has been dispatched we are unable to cancel it and therefore return costs are at your expense. If the delivery address refuse delivery of the goods or if you do not respond to the "sorry we missed you" card left by your driver, your order will be returned to the sender (Babies-born.co.uk) and you will be charged for the return of the order. Please note our couriers return charges: £7.00 up to 6 kilos and £13.25 thereafter. Please note - All goods must be returned in their original packaging and unused. If goods are sent back in any other condition (Babies-born.co.uk.) reserve the right to refuse your refund. Returns costs are at your expense. If a customer places an order over the phone, personal credit card and debit card information will be put directly through our paypalpro merchant account interface. We DO NOT store any financial information (debit card numbers or credit card numbers in any of our computer systems) By using our site to order you except these Terms and conditions....If you DO NOT except them, please do not order goods or services!
